Scrap Talk
I really enjoy scrapbooking and I have been scrapping with paper for about 10 years. Like most people who just started without any idea about using acid free lignin free papers, I used construction paper and papers I printed out on my pc. I have since redone all those layouts using archival quality products! My family hates to have their pictures taken with the exception of my one niece who is an absolute ham so naturally most of my digital layouts will have her as my subject matter. She is also my only paper scrapping buddy so I tend to paper scrap her quite a bit as well.

I am new to digital scrapping. I bought the LifetimEZ software from a TLC demo and enjoyed playing with it and using those extra pics that didn't make the cut in my paper layouts. I have Paint Shop Pro 8, 9, and X but I had a hard time figuring out how to use it for scrapbooking and gave up quickly. I am not one to read pages upon pages of directions and if I can't figure out how to use a program within 5 minutes it usually gets uninstalled. LifetimEZ is limited in many ways and I finally had to learn to do some basic things in PSP. Then I discovered Scrapbook Max.....it is way better than Lifetimez and more flexible plus the community site offers lots of freebie templates and elements. Finally I bought Photoshop Elements 4.0 and so far all I have managed to do with it is to use it to automatically correct red eye. Anyway I am learning slowly but surely and after the new year I hope to be able to offer some freebies of my own.

My other interests include golf, numinastics and interior design. I enjoy horsebacking riding, tennis and watching the Philadelphia Eagles as well. I love most music with the exception of hard core rap and jazz. My favorite band is The Pretenders and I try to go the concerts whenever they play within a 200 mile radius of Philadelphia. I love practing with Guitar Pro and I have been working on JerryC's arrangement of Canon for about 2 months. Here is my attempt and I'm satisfied with it, well not really, but I am sick of it at this point. Careful with the volume, no matter how far I moved the mic from the amp the sound is loud and I don't know how to change the volume of the file itself.

My Guitar

My friend sent me this link to Canon Rock on youtube. It looks like I better get back to the drawing board LOL
