Kit: Family Tree by Monica Larson
I found this cute kit on Monica Larson's website. I tried it in PSP but there were too many layers to make and my computer froze up (got to get more memory soon.....). I then gave it a try in Scrapbook Max and in less than 10 minutes the template was finished and I just had to plug in some photos. I am not sure why an inexpensive program like SM can easily handle layers without loss of performance while PSP seems to suck my memory resources dry very quickly.

It has been a busy weekend for us so I didn't get any scrapping done. I bought a new car on Friday and spent half of Saturday trying to figure out how to set the clock and radio stations. It has been raining here almost every day for over a week and the ground is over saturated so everything is becoming mud. I left those white mats the car place puts in and I am glad I did because even though I am being very careful not to track mud into the car the white mats are full of mud already.I was heartbroken that the Eagles lost on Saturday but they had their chance and they blew it. Well there is always next year. Did I mention that my new car is Eagles green? Oh well when the Eagles license plate I ordered from Ebay on Friday night gets here I am still going to put it on.

Kit: Happy Campers by Atomic Cupcake
I bought myself a months membership at Atomic Cupcake. I downloaded all the kits and all the actions and frankly they don't add enough new stuff to justify spending another $17.95 next month. The kits are nice and at $12.95 for the Cupcake Club it was a steal as I got myself 30 new kits to play with. I am thinking maybe in 6 - 9 months I will buy another months membership. Anyway I liked the look of this Happy Campers kit and I have the perfect pictures to use with it but I wasn't in the mood for pulling out old photos and scanning them today.

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - David Akers booted a 38-yard field goal through the raindrops as time expired to lift the Philadelphia Eagles over the New York Giants, 23-20, in an NFC Wild Card showdown at Lincoln Financial Field.
Brian Westbrook carried the load offensively, rushing for 141 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries for the Eagles, who advance to play the New Orleans Saints next week.
Jeff Garcia ended 17-of-31 for 153 yards with a touchdown toss and no interceptions, while Reggie Brown caught seven balls for 73 yards. Tiki Barber racked up 137 rushing yards in the final game of his career for New York, which dropped six of eight heading into the postseason. Barber announced during the season that he was stepping away from the NFL despite showing no signs of slowing down. He finished his career with over 10,000 yards rushing and more than 5,000 yards receiving.
New York rallied from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter, but Westbrook led the Eagles right back down the field in the closing minutes with 33 yards on six carries. The Giants wasted two timeouts earlier in the half, which proved detrimental. Once in the red zone Philadelphia milked the clock down before Akers split the uprights.

That's right, Koy Detmer, the sexiest man in the NFL is returning to the NFC East Champions aka the Philadelphia Eagles. When Akers missed a 23 yard field goal attempt I screamed that is what happens when Koy is not there to hold the ball. My family teased me and said get over it because your boy Koy is not coming back. Well.......the Eagles management must of heard me because they wisely re-signed Koy just in time for the playoffs. Seems that Akers isn't that good without Koy there to hold the ball for him. Let's hope if Garcia gets hurt they put Koy in rather than AJ Feeley who I don't like simply because he replaced Koy. Oh and let's hope that the Eagles win the Super Bowl without Donovan.
