First up from Raspberry Road is the beautiful Lucky Me Challenge Kit. The challenge runs until March 16th and everyone who enters will receive a 10 page brag book by Tracy Anderson. Check the site to download and read up on the rules. Next is the Lucky Charm Kit by Marialynn (ferg). The kit features a nice chipboard alphabet and some metallic elements. Janniscrap has a Top of the Mornin'! Sampler on her blog. Members can download the whole kit. Membership is a bargain at $6 for 3 months and she puts out some really cute kits. Last but not least is my favorite, Yardbunny's St. Patricks Day Freebie Kit. The colors are pleasant and the elements are excellent. I used the kit to make my new blog banner. Make sure you grab the frame that was left out of the kit.

Kit: Family Tree by Monica Larson
I found this cute kit on Monica Larson's website. I tried it in PSP but there were too many layers to make and my computer froze up (got to get more memory soon.....). I then gave it a try in Scrapbook Max and in less than 10 minutes the template was finished and I just had to plug in some photos. I am not sure why an inexpensive program like SM can easily handle layers without loss of performance while PSP seems to suck my memory resources dry very quickly.

Loreta Labarca has a nice Christmas kit on her blog. Aida Laura has a beautiful kit called Natal (Portuguese word for Christmas I think), on her 3alfs blog. I like the look of the white and the gold with the holly, it is something a little bit different. Those wonderful gals from Brazil have an extra special Christmas treat, first they made the Christmas mini-kits available and now each designer has made a quick page from the kits just waiting for you to drop in your favorite Christmas photos. Credits: November 2006 Kit by Denise D. Witmer at WittyLiving.com. Unfortanately this kit is no longer available but she has a nice December kit up for grabs. I made the curves in PSP X and then imported them into the shapes folder of Scrapbook Max (SM) and completed the layout in SM.
We had a nice Christmas, plenty of food, plenty of laughter and of course plenty of presents.....and the EAGLES BEAT DALLAS 23-7!!! I haven't had time to do any new layouts but I am looking forward to using my Christmas photos with all the new kits I got.
